How can I measure the recovery rate of abandoned cart emails?

Hi, 

Is there a report anywhere for measuring the success or recovery rate of abandoned cart emails. 

I see that you can find abandoned carts under orders and can see a status here. But...it should be a metric. i.e. a % rate of the people who recover vs those who don't. 

This is the abandoned cart report under 'orders' 

My assumption was that if I used the export function I could see recovery status/email status and work out the metric manually. 

But, when you export you get none of that useful info. It's just loads of customer info. 

So....is there any way at all to measure abandoned cart recovery rate - ideally in connection to the emails that are sent. Seems a really big thing to not have measurement built in out of the box so apologies if I've just missed something obvious.

The only way I am able to get close to a metric here is to export 4 reports from order > abandoned cart

- all abandoned cart

- abandoned carts where email was sent

- abandoned carts that have been recovered

- abandoned carts where email was sent and cart has been recovered

You then need to look at the volumes in each one and create metrics from that. It's going to be insanely time consuming to do that multiple times. Surely this is already built in to Shopify - seems like a total hygiene factor to have this in reports.

Thanks @Ruby11 . That's definitely something I could try at some point. For now though I'm wondering if there is a way without another app installation. The data is there, it seems really odd that this isn't achievable within Shopify by standard.

To get the metrics you have to use a third-party Shopify app from the app store which will send abandoned emails and show the metrics.
