Hey,
I would like to run shopping campaign in multiple countries. Currently, I'm using the Google plug-in (Google by Shopify) for the product feed. However, it allows me to pick only a single country. What is the best practice to run in multiple countries? My product catalog and price is the same in all coutries.
Thank you in advance
For every country make different feed. Let me know if you need my assistance.
If you are using the default-free Shopping app, from Shopify. Then you can only target 1 country.
If you want to target multiple countries you need to use a different app. However submitting a feed to another country without using the native language and currency is going to be a waste of your time.
When your store is for example US and you target the UK, with USD. You will only get 10% traffic. Google actively limits your potential when the currency does not match the target country.
Instead you should set up a feed with GBP for the UK, you then get the full potential.
You should search for "shopify multi currency feed"
Hey Emmanuel,
Thank you for your detailed explanation.
What is the reason for getting low traffic in your example?
I talked to a Google rep yesterday and I was told that Google automatically converts the currency.
In case I prepared another feed with GBP, Should the currency match with the website? On the website we have USD for all countries at the moment.
Thanks
Yes, Google indeed automatically converts the currency. And when you advertise, you will notice that these will not get much traffic.
While if you have GBP when targeting UK, will get much more traffic.
Yes the landing page currency must match the currency in the feed. If you found the tutorial that I mentioned, it explains the steps you need to do, to achieve this.
Hi,
The Multi-language feature is one of the most important features a business would require if planning on going global. When an e-commerce business wants to expand its customer base and boost its annual revenue, the Multilanguage feature can help.
We have developed the Easy Google Shopping Feed app by AdNAbu, which manages your merchant center feed and other advanced features such as Multilanguage. The multi-currency features allow an eCommerce business to sell their products in different countries, allowing those countries to pay using their local currencies - using the customer’s location, the features will automatically adjust the price to the customer’s local currency.

Hi Matt
You should create a different feed for each country. Content API doesn't enable to replicate items for multiple countries within a single feed. If you want to submit your Content API product data to multiple countries, you'll need to upload the product multiple times, once for each targeted country-language pair through the API. Here, you will find more info about it.
If you want to save time, this Google ads and Shopify app do the work for you. Using an app like this one will help you to advertise your Google Shopping campaigns across multiple countries. It will create, manage and automate your Merchant Center or Google Shopping campaigns.
Hi,
I am trying to add it to multiple Countries. How ever i am not able to use the content Api twice
That sounds correct by design. If you have setup the settings correctly assuming you are using an app that can submit to multiple countries, then you will see 1 content API with multiple target countries in Google Merchant Center.
For my clients I use: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds
Thanks for the App!

What message are you seeing, and what step are you at?
It doesnt allow me to send a screeshot within the reply. Can i message you via DM?
I am trying to click Next but it doesnt allow me.
Try deleting what you did. And create a new feed, and only add the feed name and select your merchant account. Don't change anything else.
Still the same problem
