How can I segment customers by zipcode in the mail app?

Im trying to separate customers by zip/postal code, Is there anyway to do this in the shopify mail app. If there is not why is this not a feature yet

Unfortunately, the default Shopify email marketing app does not offer the ability to separate customers by zip/postal code. However, you may be able to achieve this by using a third-party email marketing app that integrates with Shopify and offers advanced segmentation options.

Alternatively, you can export your customer data from Shopify and use a spreadsheet program like Excel or Google Sheets to sort and filter the customer data by zip/postal code. You can then use this sorted data to create targeted email lists for your marketing campaigns.

As for why this feature is not available in the default Shopify email marketing app, it's difficult to say for certain without insight into Shopify's development process.
