How can I update my store's currency and primary market?

Hey, I want to change my store currency however I am not sure if this is an updated version of Shopify because I have followed the basics steps of going to store details. The only thing I can do is change the format. I also want to change the primary market to the USA but I can't seem to get it right. I also removed the payment for my country hoping that this will move the US market to primary but nothing seems to work. Please may you assist me . Thank you.

If you want to change your store currency, you can do so through your Shopify Admin. To begin, click on "Settings" at the bottom left-hand side of your screen, then select "Store Details." In the "Store currency" section, you should be able to choose a new currency. If you are unable to do so, we would be happy to assist you further through the available contact methods in our Help Center.  If you see the chat assistant, you can ask to contact support and it'll guide you with your next steps on how to connect with a team member. Once you get in touch with support, we will be able to take a closer look.

In terms of updating Shopify Markets, you can change your primary market to a different country or region that better suits your selling strategy by following these steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Markets.
2. In the Overview section, click your primary market.
3. Click Edit.
4. Select a new country or region from the drop down list, or use the search bar to search for the country or region you want to change to.
5. Then, the previous country or region that was your primary market is moved to your International market.

If your store has ANY orders on it, then you won't be able to change the store currency yourself -- you'd need to reach out to Shopify's support to have them change the store currency for you. 

You can only change the store's currency yourself, if you've never had an order on the store.

It seems that you've already made some sales. If that's the case, you won't be able to change your store currency. Instead, you'd have to contact the Shopify support team so they can assist you.
