How do I bring more traffic to my store? (Paid and free ways)

Hey everyone, I started my E-Commerce journey about 3 months ago with the same store. I’ve got about 4 sales with paid marketing but I need something more effective. I currently do organic ads on instagram. I’ve ran Facebook campaigns with not much luck, Tiktok does not like me either. What’s the best way to bring traffic to my store? Also what can be done to my store to effectively have a better conversation rate? Thank you all for your time!

I need to know a little more about your strategies. Are you creating content around your brand? by this I mean content that isn't just about selling a product.

Yeah I only do content about the products. Not anything about our brand

Ive noticed you have blog posts on your site. Turn some of that information into easily digestible social media posts. By default you should be posting 3 relevant content posts per every 1 product post to attract a wider audience. Make sure you are utilizing relevant trending hashtags as well.

Bring more traffic to your site and increasing your conversion rate are both important marketing tasks that every brand need to pay attention to. You have just started your eCommerce for 3 months, it’s not a long period of time to get effectiveness right away but enough time for performance evaluation to find some better methods to optimize your marketing strategy. 

 

First, start with your desire to increase the traffic to your site. The easiest and most popular way to do so is through advertising. You have implemented some campaigns on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. There are some recommendations that I want you to know:

  • Target audience: you do not want to spend your money on the wrong audiences who don’t have a willing to purchase. Research and draft your target audience based on each platform because customers’ behavior is totally different from each one. 
  • Regularly review your ads performance: Review the targeting settings of your Facebook and TikTok ads. Sometimes, making slight adjustments to the demographics, interests, or behaviors can significantly improve performance. You can even implement an A/B testing strategy to know which messages and visuals are performing better. 
  • Duration: Remember to set a timeline and know when you should stop your ads campaign to avoid lengthening the campaign unnecessarily. You can break your timeline into multiple time period to check the performance in details.
  • Trending: Because you rely mainly on social media advertising, it’s crucial to capture the trends in the world to make viral content. There’s another way to implement this by collaborating with influencers in your product’s field instead of creating content on your own.
  • Influencer Marketing: Partner with influencers in your niche on platforms where your audience is most active (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok). This can drive direct traffic and also boost brand credibility.
  • Additionally, I recommend you expand your platform’s advertising to Google Shopping. It’s an effective channel for reaching a wider audience who are searching by querying the search term related to your products.

  • Content Marketing: I saw that your site has a blog post section, keep continuing to generate more valuable blog posts that bring information and knowledge to your customers instead of focusing too much on promotion. Additionally, you can use your content to answer common questions, solve problems, and provide useful tips related to your products.
