How do I change the email sender image on emails from Shopify?

I want to change my email sender image (the image that appears next to the "from" field in an email inbox). The email I am sending from is hosted by Shopify, so I can't log into the email provider and change the image there. Any tips on how to do this?

Shopify is not providing any Email hosting option. Is your domain a Shopify-managed domain? You may have used some other third-party email hosting service.

Hi, I have the same issue. My domain is Shopify owned and I use the Email app of Shopify. With the new requirements I had to change my email address and since these changes I don’t have an image on the email sender anymore. How to add the image there?

You can follow these steps:

Uploading your image.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Find the theme you want to edit, and click Actions > Edit code.
3. In the Assets directory, click Add a new asset: New asset menu.
4. Click Choose File to browse to the new gift card image on your computer and upload it.
5. Click Upload asset.
