SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello,
I would like to create a pop up window or a page for visitors to subscribe.
How do I create one?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best,
Marion
Hi, @marionsagon
Welcome to the Shopify Community, and thanks for posting!
Setting up an email capture pop-up is super easy to achieve with the help of apps like Privy. Privy has a free plan when starting, and allows you to create beautiful customized popups with the click of a button!
When using popups to capture subscribers, make sure you offer something of value to entice them into subbing. For example; a 15% off coupon when you sign up!
I hope that helps. In the meantime, I'd love it if you could share your business domain so we can take a look! There might be more feedback and tips I can provide.

Shopify does not have a built-in popup feature. You can add popups to your Shopify store using the app from the Shopify App Store. There are many popup apps available, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
If you found the answer helpful consider supporting the Shopify Community by giving it a Like + Accept the solution.
Good luck and have a nice day!

Hey @marionsagon, in addition to what was mentioned by @Skye you should check out the Klaviyo app. Shopify recently invested $100m in Klaviyo, so I'm guessing this particular solution will be going from strength to strength over the next few years. It's already pretty nifty, IMO.
One particular activity that you should consider in addition to building your newsletter database, is developing custom audiences in Facebook/Instagram. Shopify just released a nice blog post on this very topic - well worth reading.
Klaviyo, Mailchimp and probably most email / crm solutions now have native integrations with Meta Ads, so you can automatically export new subscriber lists to these channels. Then, in addition to sending them an email reminding them of their 15% discount, you can remarket to them the next time they are on Instagram and Facebook with the same message. By using a custom audience you can ensure that only these audiences see these messages so you don't bleed discounts.
With the costs of advertising skyrocketing, we're all trying to find better ways to reduce the burn. 😅
I hope that helps...
