SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi all so we have just literally made our website live yesterday and started a new google ads campaign on our new google ads account. How long does it usually take until the google ads will actually start to deliver - everything is active and enabled with all products approved in merchant centre. But so far absolutely zero activity - zero impressions etc.
Does it usually take google a few days to start or is there an issue somewhere? I'm assuming google will need to wait until its reviewed our website etc until it can start to deliver but not sure - all products are approved and everything is active without any obvious issues. I dont think its a case of our cpc bids being too low either because we should at least be seeing some form of impressions.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Chilli
Generally, it's common to start seeing some impressions and clicks within a few days of launching a new campaign. However, optimizing and refining your campaign to achieve optimal performance can take several weeks. The time it takes for Google Ads to start delivering results for a new store can vary depending on several factors. Here are some key considerations:
Ad Campaign Setup: Creating a well-structured and optimized ad campaign is crucial. It involves setting up targeted keywords, compelling ad copy, relevant landing pages, and appropriate bidding strategies. Taking the time to optimize your campaign will help it perform better once it's live.
Ad Approval Process: After setting up your ad campaign, it needs to go through Google's approval process. This usually takes only a few hours, but in some cases, it might take up to a couple of days. It's essential to ensure your ads comply with Google's policies to avoid delays.
Ad Auction and Competition: When your campaign goes live, it enters an ad auction each time a user performs a search query relevant to your keywords. The time it takes for your ads to start delivering depends on the competition for those keywords. If many advertisers are bidding on the exact keywords, it may take longer for your ads to appear.
Budget and Bidding: The budget you allocate for your ads and your bidding strategy can also impact how quickly your ads start delivering. A higher budget and competitive bids increase your chances of winning ad placements and generating impressions sooner.
Quality Score: Google assesses the relevance and quality of your ads and landing pages through a metric called Quality Score. The higher your Quality Score, the better your ad's position and performance. Initially, your Quality Score may be lower for new campaigns, which could impact their delivery.

We're onto our 3rd day now and nothing is happening. We have even set a performance max maximum conversions value without target and absolutely nothing is happening.
All products approved and live.
Billing all setup.
No problems in account.
I cant understand why nothing is happening. The only possible thing i am thinking is whether because it is a brand new website does google have to list it in their database/search results first? We have submitted the sitemap on search console to try and make this part quicker.
Other than this we are at a complete loss as to why nothing is happening.
still nothing!
Really disappointed with the level of support on this forum.
