How many of you have made money because of Shopify ?

By made money, I mean more than $1k net per month. It seems like most people are creating simple dropshipping sites (there are already thousands of them) and just giving away money to Facebook and Google for advertising.

Yes, that's a very scary scenario, where everybody's moving in the same direction, after the secret is out.  Might want to try to look into something different.  

Marketing on F or G is so diluted.

We have 3 clients who make 5 and 6 figures / month off dropship. However, they have picked really good niches that you would not think of at first past. Most doing drop ship are trying to get rich quick, which is why they are failing. Outside the fact they don't have a business and or marketing background usually. The people who are making it work are the exception not the norm.

Both as the margins are really good. The product or industry you pick is what is going to make or break you running drop ship. Doing drop ship is not bad in of itself. To many see a video on YouTube and think they can be a star over night with some average product they got off generic site.
