If I collaborate with an organization by donating to them a portion of my sales attributed to their members, what is the best and easiest way to track that? (For example, they email their constituency or share my shop on their Facebook page and I give them $1 for every sale from one of their members.) I want to do this with multiple organizations so I need an efficient way to keep track of the info.
I do want to capture emails so I'm thinking some kind of form will be involved.
Hey @CapitalC, This is Alexis from Akohub's Marketing team 🙂
An efficient way to track donations tied to organization-driven sales is by creating unique discount codes or UTM links for each organization. This way, you can track which sales are attributed to each partner. With Ako's referral program, you can set up unique discount codes and links for each organization you partner with. This allows you to easily monitor sales generated by each group and manage the donations accordingly. Our data tracking will also give you insights into how well each campaign performs, helping you optimize future collaborations.
Additionally, you could set up a form to capture emails and allow customers to select the organization they’re supporting. Platforms like Google Forms or Typeform can integrate with your site, making it easy to gather this data. Let me know if you need help setting it up! 🙂
Hey CapitcalC,
Heddy from Gameball: Loyalty Program & VIP here!
To track donations to organizations based on sales, consider using unique discount codes for each organization. You can set up forms to capture emails and track sales attributed to those codes. Utilizing an eCommerce platform with built-in analytics or integrating with tools like Google Analytics will help you monitor sales linked to each code efficiently. This way, you can easily calculate the total donations owed to each organization.
