So, Shopify isn't an online marketplace like Amazon or eBay. Instead, Shopify is a complete eCommerce platform that allows new or existing businesses to launch their online stores using our software. As a result, you aren't buying products from Shopify; you're actually buying the products for the businesses themselves that just use Shopify as their online host. 

The closest thing Shopify currently has to a marketplace setting similar to Amazon is our Shop App. If you're using a mobile device, you can download the Shop App and you will then have access to thousands of merchants that sell using Shopify. You can search up products or business types, and the application will help you find a store that should offer what you're looking for.

Shopify itself has a narrow range of products meant for merchant business needs such as POS hardware, label printers, chip readers,etc.
