SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
I use Ad words on google.
I get a range of 30 views for paid ads! and no sales. Its making me lose a lot of money on these ads which I am not benifiting from.
What can I do better to make a lot of sales from these google ads? Please help
if you got 300 views then you may get 1 to 2% sale from it.
for better google ads, you have to know good keywords research and know how to find low CPC buying keywords. Stop spending money on keywords that don’t convert.
If you find good keywords then target Time, Geographic, Gender, and Age etc.
You need to research and learn it first.
But if you need to get sale first then you have to work on social media. I recommend Pinterest and Instagram.
I will to continue working better with my keywords, thank you for that.
I have tried pinterest and I thought I was doing good but I haven't made profit that I though I would get. I'm still new to pinterest, is there any insider points to make it more likely for someone to purchase.
I still have trouble undertsanding pinterest, and the online forums doesn't help much online.
I have tried instagram, but I am just having trouble finding good influencers
At the first time, I also think no one uses Pinterest 😛
But now I know how Pinterest can bring your more visitor and sale.
I have applied it my own eCommerce shop and It brings 2-3 sale regular base. Now I'm focused on
getting more followers then start posting pin post again.
If you want to know more about it then you may contact me using my profile link, I can help to make the sale using Pinterest and it's easier then other social networks.
Thanks
Hi, VenusPalms.
This is Max from the Shopify Team.
I'm going to change the category of your post in hopes that you might get some more relevant replies. The Build a Business thread is meant for discussion around our annual commerce competition. I think Ecommerce Marketing might be more relevant.
After looking at your site, I'd suggest considering a few things to review there. It looks very much like you're dropshipping a very broad range of products. Narrowing this focus, especially initially can help automated marketing and targeted ads find a better audience.
Who is VenusPalms? Who is your customer? Have you answered these questions when selecting products for your site? I'd suggest adding some more brand identity through images chosen and even product titles. Knowing a bit more about who you're targeting and your brand can help you refine your shop's design and layout!
I see you have some things added to the footer in terms of policies, but I would also suggest adding some more trust indicators. Check out this article for some tips- 9 Ways to Earn Customer Trust When You Have Zero Sales.
It's important to diversify your marketing campaign and consider researching some advertising options in addition to Google Ads. For example, cultivating a social media audience and presence can help you gain more follows, views, and sales as you grow. Check out some of the articles here on our blog.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Max,
I am kind of new here. I am coming for help!
I am struggling with the sales. I am spending money on social media and Google, I have some views..but not sales. I guess I am doing something wrong about the social media.
I am thinking to pay a specialist on social media? What do you think?
Thanks for your time!

Hi there Mariana! 🙂
If you are not making sales then you store and your products are not good enough. Period. There is little improvement from here. I hope this helps 🙂

Hi there,
Advertising on Google can be a very complex task, and if you're not sure what you're doing you'll probably end up spending a lot on advertising costs and getting just a few sales.
You might want to try AdScale to help you with your advertising campaigns. It's a 100% automated advertising solution for marketing your store on all of Google Ads campaign types.
This is how it works:
1. It reviews your store history and and enriches it with database of 1 million active campaigns. This way, it can create specific audience targeting of people who would most likely be interested in buying products.
2. It creates advertising campaigns on Google Search, Shopping, Display Remarketing and YouTube
3. After campaigns are created, it uses AI algorithms to constantly review and optimize the performance of campaigns. It does it with automated changes like bid changes, budget changes, addition and removal of ads and more...
You can learn more about it in this link: ecom.adscale.com
Hope it helps!
Google Ads can be expensive and tough. The number one thing you want to pay attention to is keyword relevance.
Don't bid too broad and use other match forms like [exact] or "phrase match" with your keywords. You can sputter out an ad budget really quickly if using all broad terms.
Lastly, follow this formula when deciding whether Facebook or Google is the right choice for your ads:
Is this a product people are actively searching for? Go Google.
Is this a product someone didn't know they needed, but they would want? Go Facebook.
Best,

Hi, Mariana.
Max, again.
It looks like you have a bit of a different audience and market than VenusPalms. Are you making these products yourself, or do you know the suppliers? The tagline Born in London..Handmade in Paraguay makes me want to know more about you brand and story. This could definitely be elaborated on in some pages or blog posts on your shop! This would also be amplified by some by using social media like Instagram to grow an audience through content shared, hashtags, etc.
You could definitely hire someone to help you build this, but, I'd really suggest doing some groundwork first. That way you can give better direction and have some goals in mind for you business rather than handing things straight over to someone. I'd suggest looking at this doc -Developing a marketing plan. It can serve as a bit of a roadmap for you.
From there we have so many great articles about social media marketing here from general to industry-specific. I'd suggest looking into these ones in particular:
Hopping right into marketing without doing the legwork of defining your customer and working on the function of your shop is not something I'd suggest. Have you asked anyone to run through your shop for the first time? See how they use it. See where they struggle. Also see if they can navigate on different devices where they'd normally shop. That might be really enlightening.
For me, what I noticed was that the navigation seemed a bit limited. Having only Home and Catalog as options made me feel like I was going to end up on a small inventory page. I think a dropdown menu using collections could be a great option here. the menu alongside the main collection page is a nice feature, but do you think it really would help someone looking to narrow their search? Maybe something like the features these apps enable could help with filtering and organization.
My colleague, Aaron, also wrote this post - Ask A Guru: Why Am I Not Making Sales?, that might have some nice insights and resources to review if you're feeling a bit overwhelmed! Remember there's a learning curve to starting something new, and we're here to help if you need insights or have any questions about working with Shopify!
Cheers,
Max

If yes try keyword insertion in h1 so this will replace automatically with user search term in this way you will be able to get qualified leads

In my deem, you are not using the Google Ad works in a right way. As it is the fastest way to drive sales for your product or services. Make use of dynamic keywords and make sure your ads are hyper-local. I hope this helps you out.
