SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello Everyone,
I have a store on German domain and I use google ads, analytics, merchant center etc.
I bought same domain as Italy and France. xxx.de, xxx.fr, xxx.it all is mine.
I want to use different domain an different countries.
xxx.de domain is my prime domain and the others are only for its countries.
when I try to publish ads on google, I cannot choose xxx.fr or xxx.it website. Google ads says;your mercanht center domain is .de and you must give this adress on ads. But if I wrote xxx.de domain, google ads cannot detect sales on xxx.it or xxx.fr conversions.
I try to open another merchant center account xxx.it domain, but I cannot connect shopify again.
Anyone face wtih like this situation?

You can ignore the advanced account ID, this is not used for anything. Simply create a sub account for each top level domain.
Then use the app in my previous reply and set it all up. I recommend you do it 1 country at a time to avoid any issues.
HI @Ceyhun2
If you have set up subdomains for different countries, creating an MCA account for your merchant center would be the best way to advertise your stores with subdomains. You can follow the steps below to create one: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188487?hl=en.
You can also have subfolders for different countries and create feeds in the merchant center by adding multiple countries with the same primary domain. You can reach out to us if you need any assistance with setting up the feed.

- Try our Nabu for Google Shopping Feed from Shopify App Store.
To setup multiple feeds for different countries there are a few steps you need to take.
1) Convert your current Google merchant center account to be an advanced account: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188487?hl=en
If you can not do this, than that means your account was created via Shopify, then you first need to contact Google Merchant Center support, that you want to be separated from Shopify for the purpose of converting to a advanced account.
When you have done that, you can then setup a subaccount for each new domain.
To submit a feed with these new domains, and using the native country language and currency, use the following app: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds
Thank you
which merchant center need to connect ın shopify -google sales channel?
I cannot see MCA id on options
Your Google Merchant Center ID is located in the top right corner when you log in to Google Merchant Center.
I know that but in shopify I saw completely different 2 ID numbers
It is recommended that you only have 1 account, if you see different id's that indicates you have multiple accounts.
As I have no access to your account, please note that the advice might be incorrect.
Check all your merchant center accounts, by physically logging into the accounts, once you have found the account that is not active, close it down. Then follow the steps I have provided previously for the active account.
I talked with google help center.
they told me; google doesn't support MCA accounts on Shopify.
I don not know what can I do ?
If you have followed the steps, you can enable an advanced account. If you have received different information, then most likely Google does not understand what you want to do.
As I have no information about your setup.
First check if you can enable an advanced account following the steps here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188487?hl=en
If you can't enable it, that means the parent account is Shopify.
If so, you must contact Google and ask to be disconnected from Shopify.
Then, you can enable an advanced account.
I enabled Advanced account.
But now Advanced account ID doesn't be in the google-shopify connection menu on shopify.
I saw 2 different ID on menu but I don'y know where they come
This is an accepted solution.

Hi EmmanuelFlossie - do you know if it is possible to request shopify to provide access to the parent account that was created via the shopify set up of the merchant Center in order to then manage the subaccounts? This way avoiding the need to create a new MCA and then the subaccounts.
No, because they you have access to 100,000+ other merchant accounts. Don't think Shopify would want to give you access to that.
If you want to separate yourself from Shopify, you need to contact Google ask to be separated so that you can then create your own advanced account.
Hi
If you converted your account to an advanced account, then the original account will become a sub account. There is no concept of parent account for adding websites. The parent account, in other words the advanced account, is only intented for you to create sub accounts.
So you can only proceed in 1 way.
