How to meet Google Ad requirements?

Hi everyone,

I do not have a physical store address but I read that it is necessary to have a physical address to run Google ads. I already have a contact email and meet the other requirements - shipping info, privacy policies and etc.

What would be the solution to this problem? Is it safe to use your personal address?

Didn't understand a little, in the sense there is no physical address? Do you sell products online? Just enter any address of your city or even a postal address.

Yes, I do not have a physical store address. I mostly use Print-on-demand.

Hi,

After reading your comment, I would suggest you don't need to have physical store address instead you can use your own Home Address when you try to register your self in any of the Google Account.

In addition to this, I would also suggest you to register your business through Google My Business using your home address & Google will be sending you verification code to your home address. Once you receive the letter to your door then there will be code added to your letter which you will have to add it to your Google my Business Account so your business is officially verified.

In fact this will lead you to increase the foot traffic & trustworthiness towards your customers.

Hi Ishani, 

Ah, I see. I thought about using my own Home address to register my business - on Google My Business but I thought it could be potentially quite unsafe. 

Is it common to use your personal address? I am just a little worried about using my personal address but if it is common, I will give it a shot.

Hi,

You can use your home address & its safe don't worry most of the e-commerce store owner are using their home address only to build the customer trustworthiness.

There no harm using it & in fact it will lead to have a great credibility towards your users & Google it self.

Use your home address as it won't be displayed to the public.

It sounds like Google will be asking for documentation related to addresses etc later in 2020 but that remains to be seen.

A Google My Business will appear to the public but your address in Google Ads won't.
