How to optimize Google Ads for better conversion rates?

Hi All,

Ive recently opened my store and have some pretty unique and interesting fashion pieces.

I was wondering what everyones experience was in marketing their products and converting traffic to sales.

Im focussing on Google Ads with a shopping campaign, but not really seeing the conversions.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with advertising and how to create performing campaigns?

Thanks

NMM

With selling fashion, especially unique products, you will need to do lots of brand awareness advertising. If you only focus on Google Shopping, or even with text, you will find it very hard to get it to work. Consider having a foot in different areas, such as Facebook, Youtube, Microsoft ads, etc.

But this will be very expensive, so planning ahead, researching what you should do to get good brand awareness is key.

Here are some tips to help you optimize your Google Ads shopping campaign:

  1. Target the right audience: Make sure you target the right audience with the right keywords and product offerings.

  2. Use clear and attractive product images: Use high-quality images that clearly showcase your products to attract potential customers.

  3. Optimize your product listings: Ensure your product listings are optimized with accurate and complete information, including title, description, and pricing.

  4. Utilize retargeting: Consider using retargeting to reach people who have already visited your website or engaged with your products.

  5. Test and measure: Regularly monitor and test your campaign to see what's working and what's not. Make changes as needed to improve performance.

  6. Offer promotions and discounts: Offering promotions and discounts can increase conversions and help drive sales.

  7. Use compelling ad copy: Make sure your ad copy is compelling, informative, and highlights the unique selling points of your products.

Remember, it often takes time and experimentation to see results from advertising campaigns. Keep trying different strategies, and don't be afraid to adjust your approach as needed.

Hello @Official_NOMO,

This is Gina from flareAI app.

Sure! Here are some tips for successful advertising campaigns:

1. Know your target audience
Understanding who your target audience is and what they are looking for will help you create more effective ads.

2. Use eye-catching visuals
Use high-quality images or videos that showcase your products in the best light.

3. Write compelling ad copy
Write ad copy that clearly states the benefits of your products and why someone should buy from you.

4. Make sure your landing page is optimized
Your landing page should be user-friendly and provide all the information a potential customer needs to make a purchase.

5. Test and measure results
Experiment with different ad formats, targeting, and messaging to see what works best. Use tools like Google Analytics to track your results and make data-driven decisions.

6. Utilize remarketing
Remarketing allows you to target people who have visited your website but did not make a purchase. This can be a very effective way to convert traffic to sales.

7. Take advantage of social media
Social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram can be effective advertising channels. Use eye-catching visuals and engage with your audience to build brand awareness and drive sales.

These are some general tips, but the specifics will vary depending on your business, target audience, and budget.

Good luck with your advertising efforts!

Gina

Brand authority is often the deciding factor of whether a visitor will ultimately come around to spending money on your stuff. Your customers have most likely formed enclosed circles of domains that are "in the conversation" of a particular niche. Hence, you'll need to divert their attention to something they didn't know they wanted. Google ads act as a "broadly thrown fishing bait" in that regard, since you're not exactly targeting any demographic. To pierce through, it's better to govern your presence on multiple platforms at once (socials, YT channel, etc.)

Also, mind your average SERP rating regarding the keywords you're focusing on. Posting optimized content that's scannable and supported by clear images after every 400 words is one of the SEO basics you probably know.

However, UGC (preferably glowing user testimonials) is gaining more and more weight, especially in lieu of the latest Link Spam update. The new E-E-A-T metrics further cement the need to keep working on your content roadmap to slowly start climbing the ladder. The more visible you are in SERPs, the more organic traffic you'll garner, thus automatically "convincing" people that you offer quality stuff worth spending on.
