SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Well -- I decided to start a business Facebook at the same time I was setting up my shopify store. I did it on my phone while I was setting up shopify on my computer. When I did, I was immediately banned. I disputed it through the little portal. It was fixed. The next day, I kept getting nudges in my shopify store from FB that I was "losing sales" by not setting up my FB ads. So, I thought, why not? It wouldn't let me connect the FB I had already set up. I thought I would set up another one (so I could continue to set up my shop), and then delete the one I had already created. I was, of course, immediately banned. I disputed it through the not-so-helpful link. Now, on both my phone and computer, I just get a pop-up that states, "you disagreed with this," and says they will get back to me. I have nowhere to turn, no way to explain, nobody to help. I'm so discouraged. Has anyone found the solution to this? What a blow! I was so excited to start my shop. Now, I'm just sitting here after hours and hours and hours of work. Help! 😕

Hi, @Jennibear444!
Thank you for connecting with our network and sharing your concerns.
I can absolutely appreciate how frustrating it is to run into these roadblocks as you get your business up and running. From what you have shared, it sounds like you were able to appeal the decision with Meta and are currently waiting for a follow-up?
While each situation is different, in my experience accounts can be flagged in this way through automatic algorithms and multiple appeals can actually cause the review to slow down further. For what it's worth, I have also seen these scenarios successfully self-resolved after their team has had the opportunity to review account information and additional details you provide.
Furthermore, you can connect with Meta Support directly for any one on one assistance, but waiting it out should do the trick. Keep us posted and we would be glad to offer any additional advice.
Warm regards,
