How to set up a discount: 1 for 5% off, 2 for 10% off

Hi, 

I am selling nutbutter online by woocommerce and considering the migration of website to Shopify.

(I don't have Shopify store yet, just wondering if it can work on Shopify)

I have 3 different types of product and I would like to have this promotion:

buy any 1 bottle for 5% off

buy any 2 bottles for 10% off

buy any 3 bottles for 15% off

Does anyone know how to set up this promotion on Shopify?

Hi @Momo2NG ,

It is possible to apply discounts based on the number of products.

You can apply discounts in the discount section by following the steps mentioned below:

Step-1: Go to the admin panel of the Shopify Store and select the “Discount” menu.

Step-2: In the discount section, create a new discount by clicking the “Create Discount” button.

Step-3: Select the “Amount off products” option from the popup.

Step-4: You will get a new page to add a new discount for your store.

Step-5: In the “Method” section, select the “Automatic Discount” option to apply these discounts automatically on the cart. (If you need a coupon code, choose the “Discount Code” Option.

Step-6: Add a title for the Discount. (Eg: Buy 1 get 5% Off)

Step-7: In the Discount value section, Choose percentage and enter the discount percentage (5% Off) and choose the specific collection you want to apply the discount to (eg: nut butter) (Or you can choose a specific product you want to apply the discount for.)

Step-8: In the “Minimum purchase requirements” section, choose “Minimum quantity of items” and enter the number of products you want to apply the discount (Eg: 3 for 5% Off)

Step-9: In the “Combinations” section, choose “Order discounts” for the discount to apply the discount to the order price.

Step-10: In the “Active dates” section, Choose a start date and end date (if required)

Step-11: Save the created discount.

By this method, you can add multiple discounts like:
1. buy any 1 bottle for 5% off
2. buy any 2 bottles for 10% off
3. buy any 3 bottles for 15% off
The discount will be applied to the order price based on the number of products
