How to track offline conversions with Shopify POS?

Hi there, has anyone successfully setup Offline conversion tracking with the Shopify POS? We are specifically looking to connect Meta and Google Ads to attribute our advertising efforts to in person sales. Thanks!

Census offers a good solution for this. If you have these conversions in a database like Postgres/MySQL or a data warehouse like BigQuery etc., then you can pass the transactions along with customer identifiers to the ad platforms.

We created a public app specifically to send POS order data to Meta/ Facebook via the offline conversions API https://apps.shopify.com/captain-conversions

Can you explain how this works without 1st party data in the POS like name, email, phone number etc? Or do our sales teams have to input that data to make this work?
