Whenever you make a change, Shopify should submit the product again and Google is updated within 24 hours.

There is no way for you to manually submit the data in the content API. However if there is a bug, then you can report it to Shopify and they will force push the data.

But if that's the case, why do I have warning of automatic update [price] about 1.9% of products.  I expect to for those to be automatically updated.  So why are they not?

That is most likely because your structured data is not working correctly, I recommend you update your structured data:

Yes, you can download your feed from Google Merchant Center (see following screenshot) and then create a Supplemental Feed.

What attributes are you hoping to manually override?

@alex_marketlabs By doing your method, all content will be overwritten by the manually generated feed, which causes issues when you change data in Shopify. In this case it will not be updated in Google Merchant Center, due to the supplement feed.

Also when using Content API, you can not download data as you explained, you can do this by going to Google Merchant Center > Products > All Products > click on the download icon.

The correct way is to contact Shopify to force push the product data, or use a data feed solution that allows you to manually pull and push data.

I am facing the same issue but that option is not available as it appears in your photo.

@NinaE1 That option does not exist for Content API. If you want to push all data again, you need to either edit every product.

Or contact Shopify and ask them to push the data.

Hey Emmanuel, you helped us get our Google Ads account unsuspended a year and a bit ago - we cannot thank you enough! Recently, all of our products 'Expired' in Merchant Center. I messaged Shopify to manually push the data and their response was exactly this:

"We no longer support queries like this so you will need to get in touch with Google directly. We don't have access to the backend and cannot view and syncing issues therefore we no longer support these type of queries."

Have you ever heard of this before? We have almost all of our products expired on two separate domains and Shopify and Google keep blaming each other.

Hello @Shopify_32 Thank you for the kind words, and pleasure. Thank you for sharing what Shopify said, that is sad to hear, they don't do it anymore.

A temporary fix is to reprocess using a supplement feed, explained here: https://feedarmy.com/kb/how-to-reprocess-content-api-in-google-merchant-center/

A long term fix would be to use an app for your data feed such as: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

This app I use for all my clients, it's an amazing tool

you can't manually sync the changes. you need a feed management solution like Nabu for Google Shopping Feed that allows you to bulk edit product attributes, and then sync those to Merchant Center.
