Hi,
Trying to win back customers who have not returned in the past year. Was thinking to use Automations but the triggers seem to only take effect when a new order is placed but subsequent orders are not. If I understand this correctly, Automations take effect from the time they were created not before.
Any advise on running a query on all customers that stopped returning back to my store and sending them a one time discount code or offer ?

@Ahmed_Kamel Any good email marketing app will have this functionality, as long as the data is available (purchases are easily trackable, but you can't tell when they returned to your site unless they were logged in and tracked, for example).
I used to use Klaviyo when I had a store, was awesome for automation. We would have it send automated emails after no purchase for X amount of time (like you're asking), discount code on birthday, cross promotion offers (if they bought something from collection A, send a deal for products in collection B), intro email sequences, etc.
Thanks All for your responses. Still wondering if this is supported by Shopify's native automation, trying to reduce app dependency as much as possible.
in other words, can i run a report to list customers with orders > 1 in the last X months with most recent order > Y days
