SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi,
Let's say my phrase match keyword is "dog bed", wouldn't this like cover so many keywords? Should I then add these exact match keywords - [donut dog bed], [cozy dog bed] etc...
My bid strategy is automated bidding - Maximize conversions
Also, do I need to add negative keywords, if I'm using automated bidding - Maximize conversions
Thank you very much.

Hi @jinnypeace9
You don't have to add these exact match keywords. Your phrase match keyword will cover these keywords automatically.
If you think you can write better ads for these exact match keywords or want to track the performance separately, Then creating a new ad group and adding these exact match keywords makes sense. In most cases, just having a phrase match is more than enough.
