Images Alt Text is not being read for SEO

The images in my product page are not using the Alt text populated in the fields. While all the pages and all the images in my website contain some SEO. They are not being "tagged" for my SEO. The reason is unknown even though I have checked over and over again and made changes across all of the webpages. How can I fix this? Do I need to hardcode my alt text? If so how do I do that in JSON?
