Hi, I need help I'm not getting any traffic on my website. I have created a facebook and instagram business page which is public but still no traffic. In my shopify account under marketing I have not linked facebook/instagram to Shopify because of all the access it says they will have to my store account. Is this safe? Has anyone had an issue with doing this? What I have done is signed up for Minta and linked it to Shopify which they pull product and post on my facebook/instagram so far this is not bringing in any customers or traffic to my site. I am basically losing money that I have invested into this online store.

Need advise desparately...Thanks!

It sounds like you're trying to get started with organic traffic (rather than paid ads). If so, I'd recommend starting with Instagram, Pinterest, or TikTok because in my experience they have the best organic reach.

TikTok requires a slightly different approach, but for Instagram or Pinterest I'd recommend posting high quality content at least 1-2x per day on each page. The imagery should be crisp and eye catching - just think about all of the other content you're competing for attention with!

Try and use your captions to motivate your audience to engage with you (likes, comments, follow, etc). When your audience takes these actions, the platforms will reward you by showing your content to even more people. Also, test out a variety of niche hashtags (up to 30 on IG). Brainstorm hashtags that are not so broad that everybody is looking at them (your post will quickly get lost), but that your audience could be scrolling. This is a great way to get eyes on your content, especially when you're just getting started.

You can include links from your content/bio to your website, and as you attract more attention and earn more followers your organic traffic will start to pick up. I will be honest though... this approach does take some patience. So start testing all kinds of different posts, caption styles, hashtags, and more. Keep what works, and toss what doesn't. Good luck!
