SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi, I'm working on a few products as of now, testing on Facebook Ads in (Instagram), Instagram influencers, so far I've spent around 100-125 dollarss on that but could not to make a single sale... Last days of testing I get like 50-80 visits per day, some times people even add-to-carts, (I have a free + shipping of one of my products). But no sales, although I've seen those products being adertized and sold on other stores..
Please tell me what is wrong/should be fixed. Also, If you may tell me your CTR on Facebook ads, add, to cart, purchases, rate of a succesfull purchase if you can say that.

Hey there!
I have been dropshipping for the past three years and have found tons of problems with the free plus shipping model. In the beginning, this was a great way to get people interested in your products and even breakeven or revenue more. Now, since a lot of e-commerce people like to use the free plus shipping model it has become less guaranteed to make a sale.
What happens pretty often is that people add these free products to their cart but then see a price and are not willing to buy since they often time feel lied to. The free plus shipping model is still pretty good for collecting emails and retargeting emails to seel other products to them.
As far as your products they don't seem to be too bad. One suggestion I do have for you is to focus on a niche. A lot of my top products came from a product finder which included an Instagram ranker as part of the product finder. You can read more about this system here.
As far as advertising I always liked to use Instagram more than anything else since Instagram is a very visual platform. It gave me a great way to show off the products I had to offer. I was able to gain almost over 200k followers and make around $700 - $1000 a week. Check out this article to learn how I did this.
Overall, I don't think you have terrible products. Just keep testing new ways to sell your products and niches to sell the products to. Please let me know if you have any issues, I am always here to help!
Great tips J.shark - I agree that free + shipping offer gives an impression you want to trick customers with the last-minute charges at the checkout, which can affect trust, and that's not something you'd want to continue if you want to build a long-term business.

Hi Vasily,
Nick here from Shopify.
J.shark brings up a very good point which could explain a lot of why you are getting traffic but then not too many conversions is due to the wide range of products you have available. It makes it very difficult to build an audience for your store with such a wide range of products in terms of getting people to relate or have an emotional attachment to your brand. Focusing on a niche is something I definitely recommend.
With regards to Facebook ads and Instagram marketing, there are some tactics for each which you might find useful and I will share below:
I hope this helps and gives you some ideas of how to approach your ads moving forward.
All the best, Nick

Yeah, I've seen niche stores, the thing is I'm still testing for a winning product. I'm following the strategy as soon as a find a winning product I'll transform my site into a niche of that winning product belongs too. I've also seen many succesfull shopify store that are not niche based, or niche broad.
Trust building I suppose is good if I wanted to follow an idea of making a strong based audience. I'm not sure how many peopel go ahead and browse my site after they got the link. My bounce rate is around 65%. I will try to add more dog items, to make it reliable. But when it comes to online marketing, because I think that there is a problem, what is the CTR are you getting? And also my reachout rate is 7%, because it is free plus shipping, but still no sales. I'm confused with that, I think that this is also a big problem, I'm scared to open a niche store on a product that is not winning.
Also what would you recomend for marketing objective trafic or conversions or something else. Currently I'm doing traffic.
Does that tell you something? What should I remove or replace
Hi Vasily,
There are definitely stores which have adopted the broad niche idea and it has worked for them, but no doubt it did take a lot of work and research on their end first. Think of it as doing the 3x3x3 method above but to find out what products work for you first. This is something which will involve a lot of work to find out the right product if you are basing it on how well the products are doing in ads.
Along with using ads to find out what product might work in the long run for you, I honestly feel store owners who are passionate about what they are selling really helps. If you can find something you really like in the list above, it would be a great way to go about it.
Shopify's partner Oberlo wrote a weekly series of tips where one week it was based around deciding what products to sell which you might find useful can which you can see here.
All the best with everything moving forward.
Nick
