Is there a way to Show the sales prices on the actual website/product pages?

As of right now the sales prices only show up once you add it to the cart. 

Is there a way to have like a strike through the original price and then show the discounted price like you see on almost every single store in the world?

I've been on chat support with Shopify help for over an hour and they have no clue how to do this. 

It is absolutely insane that there isn't a check box that says 'display sales prices/discount' on the product pages when you create the sale. 

Anyone found an idea on how to make this happen? 

I'm starting to wonder who the hell designed shopify and why they haven't thought of super obvious necessities... clearly have never set up an online store before.

I need assistance with this too.

I think its off putting to visitors when they can't physically see the reduced price from the automatic discount until its in the cart.

I know personally i'd be put off by this too and assume the discount wasn't active.
