Is there interest in marketing outside of Facebook and Google

Awhile back I had a Shopify store so I got exposure to the platform. I also used Google and Facebook ads so I learned about marketing. Now I work for an advertising tech company that uses machine learning to help company leveraging technology to target potential customers. I'm wondering how much interest is there in the Shopify community to have an alternative to Google and Facebook when it comes to advertising. We advertise on different ad exchanges to websites, apps, connected TVs (think Rokus), etc. Just curious if an app that allows businesses to go beyond just Google and Facebook is worth the development.
