Klaviyo vs Third Party App to Collect Emails on Shopify

I have a Shopify store and currently use Wheelio (third party app) to collect emails and import them manually to Klaviyo to enter into the email flow.

Few problems with this: users aren't getting added to the email flow in real time and the spinning wheel can look a little spammy.

I was wondering what method people recommend in terms of collecting emails on Shopify -- do you use Klaviyo's email collector or is there another app that you recommend that better integrates with Klaviyo. And for those who recommend Klaviyo's email collector, is there a way to make it more aesthetically pleasing? It looks really out of place when it pops up.

Also, do you collect phone numbers too? I have been reading that SMS marketing has been extremely successful.

As for phone numbers, yes! SMS marketing can be super effective, especially for timely offers or updates.
