Hi experts. I am getting loads of organic traffic that has led to over 40 reached checkouts. But the converted sales are very few. Is it normal? http://shop.usmile.com
Hi there,
It's fantastic to hear about the organic traffic success you're experiencing! Having a high number of reached checkouts is a promising sign that your store is attracting interest.
One effective strategy to consider is personally reaching out to those who didn't complete their purchase. While it might seem time-consuming, this direct approach can yield valuable insights into why they didn't follow through. An individual email, phone call, or even a text message can make a difference, showing your customers that you value their business and are there to assist with any concerns or questions they might have.
This kind of personalized follow-up not only has the potential to recover a sale but also helps you gather feedback to improve the shopping experience on your site. Plus, as your business grows and the volume of abandoned carts increases, you'll have a better understanding of what prompts your customers to complete their purchases, which will inform how you can automate the process down the line.
Wishing you the best in converting those checkouts into sales!
Thank you. I was thinking of adding more payment methods to the site. But I should definitely reach out to the abandoned checkouts. It just seems weird to me that the reached checkouts are not the same as abandoned checkouts. It makes me wonder how the reached checkouts were tracked and calculated by Shopify.
