I don't know what to do ? 1 month ago I opened my first shop and I got 278 visitors per month. I tried posting ads, writing blog, but after I close ads almost everything shuts down and I get 2~10 visits per day. Please let me now what could I do.

Hello, there!

I'm going to be honest with you in my feedback. If your store was a brick and mortar then it would look like construction hadn't even begun. The walls are bare, there is no decoration or design to help visitors understand what you sell or what your brand is about.

Creating a brand is one of the most important aspects of starting a business, especially online. The reason is because most of the communication users will receive is visual. This means you must make a visual impression upon visitors that communicates exactly what your brand represents. You do this through the use of photography, graphic design, copywriting (the words and sentiment you use), you logo, fonts, and many other things.

A brand needs to have personality and it must match it up with the type of people who will want to buy your products. So, how do you do this? First you'll need to come up with a marketing plan. Part of that plan is choosing who your products are aimed at (target market). Once you've chosen your target market then you need to craft your brand to communicate specifically to them. This post and this post both have excellent advice on how to start building a brand.

It's also a good idea to look to other successful websites to get inspiration on how they have created their store and use some of their strategies with your own store.

Once your website is fully built out then you need to start bringing traffic. I recommend using our app Kit to bring in traffic.

After implementing these strategies you should see a big difference in your traffic and sales.

Just go through your website and I agree with user Ash. Work on your website and make it attractive. Right now it seems like a beginner is in the market with their products. So work on it first and ping us when it's done.

No Sales:

I agree with Ash, your website needs more work in terms of branding and user experience. Also you need to convince your visitors and turn them into buyers. There a couple of stuff you can do to achieve this, like using reviews, clear and contextual photos, trust badges etc

Low traffic:

You were using ads to drive traffic and when you stopped the traffic died out. That is expected if you don't have an organic strategy because ads might not be sustainable especially for you as a beginner. You will have to develop your brand through a content strategy, fix your onpage SEO issues so search engines can index your site and drive organic traffic. Product visibility
One way of driving traffic is to list your product on multiple sales channels such as shopping engines. This I will recommend you do at a later stage in your business growth. You should keep your ads running and try to find out how to make vistor comeback, for example collect their email and send promotion. At the beginning I had to run ads for 6 months to build customer data, and then remarketing. If your store was opened one month ago, it could be hard to expect free traffic immediately.
