Managing Report Filter for Customer's Order History

Howdy!

I'm looking to generate a report which describes the relationship between orders made by customers.

Specifically I want to generate a list of customers who have multiple orders where a single or group of product titles are in common among that customers order history.

Essentially a repeat purchase, either of variants or other bundles or offers, by a Returning Customer who already purchased from that product title filter group.

Or some way to filter customers by an order history's product titles AND by the first purchased product prior to becoming a Returning Customer.

The Customer Filter's don't seem to have product listings as seen on order report filters. And I believe when filtering for a product title filter group and Returning Customers, I am failing to filter people who are purchasing other products on my site and then their follow up order which includes them to this report contains one of the products in the product title filter group, meaning they are not a repeat buyer of this same product per say.

Any Help is appreciated,
Chase Bemis

I don't believe you can do exactly that with Shopify reports. You can get close by using the Sales by Customer Name report and using the product filter to limit the products. Then you will see which customers ordered that product and how many times - but it won't eliminate the one-time buyers.

I think this gets me close enough to the number I need, it doesn't tell me if the user bought a particular product as their first buy with us followed by a second purchase of that product but it can tell me when a customer bought more than one of a product over their lifetime which will have to suffice.

Thank you!

It will provide you with all the answers you need based on the prompts you input.  Would you be interested in a brief demo to see how it can benefit you?
