All was going smoothly until we offered Gift Cards to our store (specifically only to use in our store) suspended our google merchant account - can I simply deselect gift cards in the product sales channels for Google? Any help appreciated thanks!
Thank you for reaching out to the community forums with your question! You can absolutely manage your products so that your digital items are not indexed by the Google Sales Channel. In your store admin, open your digital products and use the Manage sales channel link on the upper right side of the product page. Like in the screenshot below:
You will be shown a list of all available sales channels and you can disable any channels that don't support digital products. Once this is done, you can ask Google to review your merchant center account once more. Hopefully this resolved it for you!
Please note that once you are suspended for 1 specific issue, that when Google re-checks, you are checked against all policies. It is advised to make sure the whole site complies, to avoid further suspensions.
