Meta description not showing on Google

Hello to all,

A couple of months ago we launched our website https://duurzamecosmetica.eu/.

After configuring our meta description (via Online Store > Preferences > meta description) we were hoping Google doesn't just show our website title anymore, but also the description. Unfortunately this is not the case.

We have tried the following things:

- Submit our sitemap to Google.

- Use Ping-o-Matic to alert the search engine we changed our website.

- Compared the codes of Shopify stores that have a proper meta descriptions to see if there are any differences; I found none.

- Read many articles in this community about this issue, but couldn't find anyone that did all I did.

We use the "minimal" theme.

Can anyone advice on what is wrong with my webshop?

Please be informed that your website was last crawled at 10 Sep 2019 19:19:08 GMT. In order to index the latest content your website should be re-index by Google.

You can submit website for indexing in Google webmaster again.
Login to the Search Console
Go to the URL inspection
Type “/” and press enter
Now you will see the button “REQUEST REINDEXING”, click on that and submit for reindexing.
Google takes 24-74 hrs for further indexing .

Thank you very much for your reply.

I logged on Google Search Console and went to URL inspection.

Just typing "/" gives me the message "URL not in property", i typed "https://duurzamecosmetica.eu/" instead.

I clicked the button “REQUEST REINDEXING” and submit for reindexing.

I will wait for 74 hours and let you know if it worked.

Hello there, 

I have the same issue regarding my metas on all my website. After auditing my website with several SEO tools, I've discovered (unfortunely) that there isn't any meta titles, descriptions, on the majority of my pages. There is also issues with the descriptions body etc..

I have checked when Google last crawl my website and it was 2 days ago. 

Moreover, we're using the Flex theme from out of the Sandbox and a page builder "Gempage".

Do you have any idea where it comes from ?
