Missing or invalid information - Facebook Commerce Manager

Hi all,

In our pursuit of creating Facebook ads, we've run into an issue where our Shopify Product Descriptions aren't integrating correctly with Facebook. We've adjusted the text to be plain (Removing caps, any symbols, etc) and we're still getting the following errors for many of our products:

Disallowed HTML Tags: "rich_text_description"

HTML Attributes Are Unsupported: "rich_text_description"

Also worth mentioning - We only are running ads and selling products from two of our collections, so we haven't updated the copy in the products that won't be listed on the Facebook page. 

Does anyone know how to resolve this at this point? Will we have to adjust the actual code itself? Shopify support hasn't offered any further insight beyond editing the copy to be plain text, which we've already done.
