Hello can someone tell me if everything looks good on my website? I was getting at least 1 sale a day every day and now it has been a week with nothing I just want to make sure everything is working right?

Please any advise would be great!

Hello there @TarnishedTailor my first observation is that your brand concept is very unique and tailored towards a very niche target audience- but large enough for you to make high sales in which is important.
To make navigation easier for first time store visitors, add new categories for best sellers and latest arrivals. For navigation reasons, it would also be best if you made your header a sticky one so the search button is more accessible that way.
Adding one or two videos into the product gallery with the goth aesthetic would also help in making it more compelling.

I hope you find these a bit helpful!

Yes I did design it my self. Thanks!

What did you have in mind to boost sales?

I was worried that the check out was not working properly or something but I don't see any issues....

Hello @TarnishedTailor this is Alexis from Akohub! We’ve worked with all types of brands on Shopify, such as Nike, Logitech, and LINE friends. We wanted to share a few tips that might help boost conversions for your store.

You mentioned that you used to have sales and now it dropped. Have you tried retargeting ads? It helps to bring back visitors who didn't convert the first time around. Show them the products they viewed along with a small discount as this can be super effective for turning “maybe” into “yes!” If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution, our app, Ako Retargeting, combines retargeting with loyalty and CRM features, helping you bring in new customers and keep them coming back. If you'd like to learn more about retargeting, feel free to check out our blog here

Plus, a loyalty program can also be a game-changer for your store by rewarding repeat customers and boosting overall engagement. It’s a simple way to turn one-time buyers into loyal fans who keep coming back and spreading the word!

Our first impression is that the whole vibe here is absolutely on point for the Soulsborne/gothic audience. The dark theme, the font choice, and that hooded, mysterious figure all scream "gothic RPG." The design nails the aesthetic, so if that's the goal, good job! Right now, the landing page has a great aesthetic, but it’s important to make the hero section (first section visitors see) more actionable. Adding a clear, visible CTA (e.g., “Shop Now” or “Browse Collections”) will help guide new visitors right away. Also, the "Cold Weather Sale" banner and the "Free Shipping" callout on the side add some good motivation. But, maybe make the sale banner a little more eye-catching? The grey on black can get lost easily. A pop of color there might help pull in people’s attention without breaking the theme too much.

While the top navigation is clear, a breadcrumb trail (showing where a user is on the site) could make browsing smoother for those deep in product categories. It’s especially helpful for customers on mobile. A “Best Sellers” or “New Arrivals” category might also help guide undecided customers towards popular items.

We hope it helps! Let us know how it goes. We genuinely hope the best for your store 🙂

Hi,

Experiencing a sudden drop in conversions despite maintaining a well-designed Shopify store with a positive sales history and reviews can be concerning.

Several factors could contribute to this issue:

  • Have you been running ads? If recent marketing campaigns attract visitors who aren't your target audience, it could lead to lower conversion rates.
  • Apart from the checkout process, other technical issues, such as slower page load times or compatibility issues with certain browsers or devices, can also deter customers.
  • New competitors or changes in competitor pricing and promotions can impact your sales.
  • Consumer behavior often fluctuates with seasons or holidays. In your case, this could be true.
  • Have you made any recent updates to your website's design, theme, or functionality? These could affect user experience or site performance.
  • Also, I observed that the reviews section is not shown along with the product. This might also turn off the buyer. Try implementing it on the same product page and showing the star rating for improved conversions.

Hope this helps!
