Need Help Improving My Fashion Ads – Any Advice or Ideas?

Hey everyone,

I run a women’s apparel business called Empire Wardrobe, and I’ve been running some ads on Facebook and Instagram. While the ads look great (at least to me!), I’m not seeing the conversions I was hoping for. I’ve been promoting new arrivals and a free shipping offer, but it feels like something’s missing.

Here’s a quick breakdown of my current ads:

  • Bright, eye-catching images of the product (mostly dresses).
  • Clear messaging about free shipping and new arrivals.
  • Consistent branding across different platforms (Facebook, Instagram stories, reels).

What’s working:

  • The visuals look good and align with the brand.
  • The offer is clear (free shipping on all orders).

What’s not working:

  • Conversions aren’t where I want them to be.
  • I feel like the ads might be too similar, and I’m not sure if the call-to-actions are strong enough.

I’m looking for advice on:

  • How to create better engagement with my ads.
  • What kinds of ad creatives work best for fashion.
  • Any ideas on how to structure the copy to increase clicks or purchases.

If you have experience with fashion ads or general tips on how to improve them, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!Screenshot 2024-09-16 12-46-13.png

Hey Empirewaredrobe,

Heddy from Gameball: Loyalty Program & VIP here!

Since you already use high-quality images in real-life settings, let's focus on refining the visual storytelling in your ads. You can create more engaging ads by showcasing before-and-after transformations or how-to style guides for specific pieces. Highlight what sets your brand apart—maybe through close-ups of the fabric or unique product features. Incorporate customer reviews or UGC (user-generated content) in your visuals to add authenticity. Pair this with a strong headline that reflects your brand’s voice.

A/B test ads with different models or aesthetics to see what resonates. Pair this with a compelling call-to-action, offering a discount or loyalty points through Gameball, which could motivate conversions.

Let me know if you need further ideas!

@Empirewaredrobe hey there maybe using some gifs/short videos for the ads could also help make it more attractive or appealing? Also like you said the call to actions could be improved, so you can also consider hiring a copywriter very experienced in ads marketing to help out with this.
