I would get a logo and customize your theme to feel a little more unique, maybe a add a complementary color to the black/white.

I also like to include graphic/banner or text on your home page up top to show why you're different, and why people should buy from you. Branding really helps get your conversions going and attract people to you instead of general marketplaces.
