Hi there I have been running an online store for about 4 months and it’s been pretty upsetting that I have only had 2 sales. I have done many ads adding up to $1000 and I still have not gotten anymore sales... here is my website: www.wstcoast.net please tell me what I am doing wrong.

You store looks beautiful, however, you are missing some basic items that are going to make it hard for someone to buy from you. Here is what I would change:

Homepage Feedback

  1. Make sure your footer links to your shipping, refund/return and sizing guide chart. This will help build trust with your customers and set expectations

  2. Add a section for customer reviews when you get them on the homepage. This is going to help build trust

  3. Add an About Us and Contact Us section as this helps builds trust and shows people who you are. Make sure your contact email is your domain name. Please don't use a gmail or something free like that

  4. Carousels kills conversions rates ... use as few images as you can on any carousel.

Product Page Feedback

  1. You have good images, however, in the future it'd be good to have more then one or two image for each product. We generally say 3 - 5 images is standard

  2. Add a product description as this is where you sell your product and convince someone to buy

  3. Add your shipping and return/refund policy to all product pages. This is something that all buyers look for

  4. Add a sizing guide to each product page. That way people buy the right size. You don't want to have to deal with returns on your clothing

  5. Remove the "Checkout Securely With" logos from product pages. You can just add this to the footer.

  6. Add a section for most viewed product or other popular products at the bottom of each product page. ASOS does a good job of this.. when in doubt look to them for what is a best/common practice.

Your store just needs some tweaks to take it up a level.  Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

Your carousel is the section just about your footer that has the rotating images for clothing. You don't have to get rid of it if you like it but try to not have more then 3 rotating images in there at any one time.  Please click "like" above my other post if you found it helpful.
