Not getting any traffic or sales even with advertising

Hello All,

I have had my store open for about 4-6 months roughly and haven't gotten any sales. I have had many people tell me that my website looks really great, instagram is great, store is trustworthy (refund policy, privacy policy, etc), I have faily good product pictures and descriptions, and not anywhere near overly expensive.

I can't seem to get any traffic to my store, only 1-8 people roughly per day and max maybe 12 people and this is WITH paid advertising. I am using facebook/instagram for paid advertising but nothing seems to bring people to my store. And when they do, they leave in less than a minute or see front page and exit. Is it my targeting options on facebook that are off? Is my brand just simply "not good enough"? Clothing is subjective, but do they not look good enough to buy? Are my ad visuals not compelling enough to click on?

I keep changing, fixing, and updating things, but it feels like nothing is working, I'm not getting any traction, and Im just losing money. Any suggestions, feedback, or harsh crisiticsm is appreciated!

1st of all, everyone is doing clothing in 2022. You only have 3 products on your site which is an issue. Your designs are nice if we cared or knew who "you" were but its just like a random guys name on a shirt. Overall the site looks good, the instagrams good, and you seem to be doing everything right. I would def get more products out there and keep the cool designs going maybe just less of the personal branding and eventually with good SEO and proper ad placement and demographics youll eventually start selling. But this is a very competitive scene to be in

Hi @Aidan88,

First, you don't expect too much with only 3 products in your store. Your website is looking very nice and classy, and your price is very competitive. But, even the smallest shops had more than 20 different products. When your product count was limited, your customers eventually leave your website because they didn't find something else on your site to interact with.

I also recommend you to our newest app in my signature to get more traffic to your store with the brand partnership program.

hi @herrerajonathan,

Thank you for giving honest feedback here. I have noticed that many people are doing clothing brands, but most don't have professional looking instagrams, wesbites, mockups etc. In your opinion, would you suggest finding a different option than doing clothing? I have invested alot of time and resources into it and believe it could grow into something great, but no sales/customer interest makes me self doubt quite a bit. I agree about the personal branding issue you mentioned. How many products would you suggest having on my site to appear better?

Hey @Pax-Digital

Thanks for giving feedback and constructive criticism. I can't afford to expand to 20 products, but with that being said how many products should I have minimum to atleast appear better to consumers on my site and potential buyers? I know other clothing brands that started with only 3 products but it was 2017-18, do I need more to stand out since more people are doing clothing in 2022? Would you also agree that personal branding with "jackson sawyer" on two of the shirts is an issue?

Thanks for the brand partnership program recommendation!

Hi,

I took a look over your website. Visually, it has a lot of potential but you need to boost that potential.

The first thing you need to have in mind is that the clothing sector is very competitive and you need to diferentiate your products from the competition. 3 products are not enough to showcase that potential. Bring more in!!

Have you considered including video marketing into your strategy? Video marketing doesn’t have to be scary, it’s a tool that highlights you as the owner and how your product or services can provide a valuable experience for your audience.

Besides, videos would look amazing on your landing pages. The point is to attract customers and retain them as much as possible on your website. And how to do that? Gain their attention using interactive videos. Make your content visually appealing and you'll see how customers will instantly feel attracted to what you have to offer.

Also you can collaborate with influencers or creators who could showcase your products.
