Order conversion details cannot be tracked

Dear Shopify Community Help,

 

We have recently been doing email marketing on our website, and there is a tracking code placed in the email, but when a user clicks on the link (with the tracking code) to make a purchase, the order is not recorded as Email in Shopify's order traffic tracking details, and the order is recorded as Direct, so why does this happen?

I use the email UTM codes for tracking marketing. But what confuses me is that my email software can see that the orders are coming through UTM, but Shopify directly counts them as direct traffic.

 

I don't quite understand why Shopify doesn't show the source of the UTM parameters for these orders.
