Personalized order tracking button, possible in shopify mail?

We are currently working on changing from another company to working fully with shopify email for our automated emails.

We now need to find out if we can add a personal track your order button or link, inside shopify email. Is that a possibility? We would like to have a button or something where the customer can click on, and get to their personal track your order page, where their information is all set to check.

Yes, you can add a personalized order tracking button on Shopify email.

You can use Shopify's default email templates, or custom email templates. You can select the email templates listed below to add a button to the order tracking page:

• Order confirmation
• Shipping confirmation
• Shipping updates

If you use Shopify’s default templates, then these templates already come with order tracking buttons. 

Therefore, all you have to do is – after choosing the template add tracking numbers to your orders. The order tracking link is emailed to your customer automatically. Lastly, don't forget to test the functionality, send an email to yourself and confirm.
