Hey, I personally took a tour of your website and found your website is good but having so many major issues in your seo which should be resolved for getting quality traffic and sales. Some of the major are as follows :

- Alt images are not optimised
- Keywords are not used

Website Issues :

- Banner image is not placed properly

I think you've got a great start! It seems like you have a good set of items and collections, and your website design has refreshing simplicity.

Selling online takes time, so don't get overwhelmed. You'll likely have a near-endless set of tasks on how to improve it. Make sure you have a good way of keeping track of changes and ideas, and a way to prioritize them to get the most out of your time 🙂

Here are some things I noticed that you can improve on:

  • Your heading has a "Women Dresses" collections. I think it should be "Women's Dresses"
  • If you don't have a logo, you can try something like Shopify's Hatchful to create one for free.
  • Your Contact Us section has a lot of linkable text (email, FB, IG) that you should turn into links.
  • You might want to try using a standard size (or aspect ratio) for each image, so they look the same when listed on pages.
  • You should read about "writing copy" for ecommerce - descriptions are very important!
  • The photography could use some improvement - making sure the products stand out more, and remember that people online want to see a lot of images 🙂
  • The headline image on your homepage looks nice, but it doesn't tell me much about your store. Maybe a carousel/image slider would be better.
  • You might want to set up a small About Us page that you can add to over time.

Keep up the good work, and remember to prioritize and list all of the changes you want to make based on goals are important to you!

Hi @ISonya,

Hyde here from Shopify.

Well done on getting cracking on your site! You've got the bones down, now it's time to flesh it out.

Have you stumbled across our Tools page yet? It has a lot of resources for a merchant just starting out 🙂 The Tools include a logo maker (it's great to have a logo that your customers can instantly recognize) a shipping label template, image resizer, and a profit margin calculator… And a whole host more!

You should have a favicon set up. This is a really cool feature and it makes the page look a lot more trustworthy and professional. The favicon is the little logo you see in the tabs on your browser.

You can add your own logo to your store in the theme editor by going to Theme settings > Favicon here:

Also, you may wish to consider an "About Us" and "Contact Us" page for your store to encourage trust from your customers!
Here's what an About Us page should contain and here's how to create one!

That should get the ball rolling on your brand, then you can think about creating a blog to keep the conversation rolling with your customers.

I hope this helps.

All the best, Hyde.
