It is definitely a great idea to post such a query here as we have a great group of contributors who can provide their expertise and experiences regarding such matters. I look forward to see the input we get on this thread. 

 

In the meanwhile, I have found some apps that may work for you and your location in Columbia: 

 

  • Printful : this app has fulfillment locations in the following regions that may work for you: Dallas, USA, and 2 others in Brazil. 
  • Gelato : this app has fulfillment locations in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile.

Hi Daniel!

 

Printful and Gelato unfortunately don't work for us - delivery from Mexico, Brazil or USA will include custom taxes. Maybe someone who have an experience with this can help with this - how to calculate custom taxes and how to include it in delivery cost? I need delivery to be free and easy for customer. Thank you!

I understand that we would prefer to have the fulfillment come directly from Colombia but these companies have set up shop in locations near to also accommodate your locations and others nearby. 

 

For further assistance and information, I recommend you try to reach out to some of these companies directly to inform them of your queries and business needs so they can provide you with more information because upon further look, Gelato, specifically has a landing page for Colombian users (please refer to screenshot below).

Both apps are free to add to your store as well as to create accounts. If you haven't already, we always recommend trying this on your store first hand so you can see for yourself how they work and what your customers will get to experience themselves.

Daniel, thanks for your answers.

I have contacted Gelato before, but they, unfortunately, do not have information on custom fees for delivery. According to my accounting department, shipping with all taxes and fees to Colombia can cost 200-300 dollars - this is not exactly what we are willing to pay for a T-shirt or backpack. Unfortunately, there is no way to verify this information.

Have you tried communicating with Printful perhaps? Given that these are similar companies, their support team may possibly be able to provide more information from us regarding such matters. Always worth the look as well.

Daniel, thanks, I have this information.


I contacted Printful and they can't help with custom fees.


It is important for us that the delivery is free and simple for the user. So that he did not need to declare anything, contact the broker, and all additional payments were included in the delivery. Neither Printful nor Gelato nor any other global contractor can offer this, I have already talked to everyone. I need a local contractor in Colombia to solve the problem, but I can't find one.
