I'm wondering if others have the same issue with purchase event data from Google Analytics/Google Ads. We had about 160 orders in May and 24.000 purchase events in GA. The event seems to be triggered in random occasions.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems? And if so, are there any solutions other than buying Shopify Plus? I've heard it has something to do with the new Shopify update.

Here are some steps you can take to address the issue.
-> Ensure that e-commerce tracking is enabled and correctly configured in your GA4 property by following these steps.
Access your GA4 property -> Go to "Data Streams" -> Navigate to the "Ecommerce" tab -> Confirm that "Ecommerce Tracking" is enabled -> If it's disabled, click on the "Enable" button.
-> Check if transaction data, including revenue and purchase information, is properly being sent to your GA4 property.
Access your GA4 property -> Go to "Reports" -> Select "Ecommerce" -> Explore the "Transactions" report -> If data is visible in the report, it indicates that transaction data is being sent to GA4.
-> Verify the configuration of the Monetization report in GA4, ensuring that the correct events and parameters are being tracked.
Access your GA4 property -> Go to "Reports" -> Select "Monetization" -> Explore the "Overview" report -> Confirm that the "Revenue" and "Purchases" metrics are being tracked.
-> Keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for data to populate in GA4. If you've recently enabled e-commerce tracking or made changes to your settings, wait for some time to see if the data appears in the reports.
If you've tried the above steps and are still not seeing purchase event data in GA4, reach out to GA4 support for further assistance.
