Hello,
I have an opportunity to list my shopify store to a price comparison site but they are requesting from me a product feed url to keep my inventory updated with their site. How could i create this url with my full product feed?
Best regards,
Marttin
Hi, Marttin!
Katy here from Shopify. I hope you are keeping well and enjoying this busy but exciting time of year!
Listing your products on comparative websites can be a great way to attract new customers and hopefully increasing your sales!
Shopify does provide you with the Product feed URL for your store. To access this, you will need to append .atom to either all of your collections or to a specific collection URL.
For example:
"yourstorename.com/collections/all.atom"
"yourstorename.com/collections/collectionname.atom"
We do also have some apps which can help you with this too from our App store. For example:
There is also some additional info on working with comparrison shopping engines here in our blog too, which you may like to have a look at.
Feel free to let me know how it goes for you.
Cheers,
Katy

Hi Katy,
the URL Feed "yourstorename.com/collections/all.atom" contains all the collections products (i have 5.000 products) or just a limited number?
Many thanks
Alessandro
Hi @alessandrovioli,
Thanks for chiming in here.
Yes, "yourstorename.com/collections/all.atom" refers to all of the products in your store - all of the products within each of your collections
While "ourstorename.com/collections/collectionname.atom" allows you to break this down per each individual collection.
I hope this helps!

Is this the same feed used for Merchant Center? I forgot how I setup the Merchant Center feed, and now I need a feed url for Manufacturer Center.
Hey, @RSEngineering !
Thanks for chiming in. When setting up a feed to the Google Merchant Centre for Google Shopping we do have an app that can help you with this. This allows for the product feed to be synced automatically for you - there is a more detailed guide on this here which may help you out. Was this what you had set up previously, can you recall?
The Google Manufacturer Center does have different requirements (details on this from Google here). These are not synced via our Google Shopping app. For this you would need to look into a specific product feed app or custom feed solution to sync up this additional data. Some apps which offer custom solutions include:
Or instead you may like to chat with a Shopify expert, depending on your own specific business needs.
I hope this helps you out.
Cheers,
Katy

Hi Katy,
I'm having trouble with the /collections/all.atom feed only displaying 25 products, this is odd because there are 157 products in the store and even the frontend listing displays 48 products.
Is there a 'limit' parameter that could be added to the feed to list all products?
Thanks
Nigel
https://storename.com/collections/all.atom does not work.
This feed will only show you max 25 products. Where can we get a data feed for all of our products? There is no reason I should have to find a subscription service, or pay a monthly fee, to have a url that shows my product feed.
Hi,
I see lots of talk and tutorials about just using this URL: /collections/all.atom however, when I try this I only get 25 items.
Is there a way to access all my products: /collections/all which if you see are over 8000 ...
Thanks for any feedback you can give.
Hii cbarklem,

Hello. Then is it also possible to import product data from several shopify websites into my shopify website? Thanks.
Hi, @Roy0031 !
Thanks so much for chiming in here.
In terms of syncing products data from multiple Shopify sites to one single Shopify site, this would require the use of an app. There are some options here which may help you out:
If you just want to import once for example, you could then use CSV files. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Katy

I recently tried to use the .atom feed to create a catalogue in a Facebook Business Manager and I got a lot of errors regarding the information sent from Shopify to the Facebook platform. Apparently, a lot of mandatory fields are empty and it simply won't work:
Same here. Did you find a solution?

Does Shopify provide rss feed with rss extension ?
Instead of yourstorename.com/collections/all.atom, I need yourstorename.com/collections/all.rss for pinterest feeding.
Thank you.
Did you manage to figure this out? I am trying to do the same thing (RSS feed for Pinterest) and cant find how to do that... Thanks!

Hello,
I was also Wondering If We could Do (Product/all.atom) because 1 product may be in two of those collections
As i am still new to all, i don't have a budget for any apps.
i went with this method "yourstorename.com/collections/all.atom" to upload my collection to facebook, i got the first error.
i need to state the condition of the product " new. used. refurbished...." i searched a lot trying to figure where can i add this in my shopify store with zero result.
any idea how can i add the condition of the product manually.
thank you
Hello,
I am still in the process of lunching my store, so i don't have any funds to get apps to generate feeds.
I tried the method that you post " "yourstorename.com/collections/all.atom" and i got an error on facebook.
as it shows from the report that facebook requires for a clarification for each product's condition, it it used, new, refurbished....
I didn't find any place in shopify to do so, is this option available? If not, how can overcome this in order to get my products to facebook?
thank you

Does Shopify currently have a way to import inventory quantity based on URL feeds? or just export?
Hi @C4g, I made a video tutorial for you on how to create URL with full product feed. Hope this helps! https://www.askquesty.com/shopify-answers/product-feed-url-shopify-tutorial
my atom feed that is embedded in the header code by shopify in supply theme does not work correctly, and is causing an indexing problem.
it only lists 26 urls maximum from about 1,000 products, and for page2 ,etc, there is no atom feed. I cannot access the faulty code installed by shopify in the header content to repair the issue, and when i contact support they send me on a worthless chat with people in the Philipiines or India who have no skills or knowledge, and simply google for links to forums and send the links, and really are a waste of money and time.
whats the issue with the Atom feed being faulty?
Hi guys.
Here is the Shopify Product Feed for use in the shopify store.

Here’s help on how to upload to each service in detail:

Feed Product
Hi, I have tried to do noindex that urls but it is not working. I added to theme.liquid:
Same here. Doesn't work as it's not an html page I suppose.
The second line of the .atom page is something like that
<feed xml:lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" xmlns:opensearch="http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/" xmlns:s="http://jadedpixel.com/-/spec/shopify">
and should include noindex like that
<feed xml:lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" indexing:index="no" xmlns:opensearch="http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/" xmlns:s="http://jadedpixel.com/-/spec/shopify"
or like that
<feed xml:lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" name="robots" content="noindex" xmlns:opensearch="http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/" xmlns:s="http://jadedpixel.com/-/spec/shopify">
Anyone from shopify team here?
These .atom pages are used for feed and supposedly help SEM to get updates for fresh content. But it seems that it is not that much the case now? And google decided to index them...
Quick fix : update robots.txt file like that
# we use Shopify as our ecommerce platform
{% for group in robots.default_groups %}
{{- group.user_agent -}}
{% for rule in group.rules %}
{{ rule }}
{% endfor %}
{%- if group.user_agent.value == '*' -%}
{{ 'Disallow: /*/sandbox/*' }}
{{ 'Disallow: /*.atom' }}
{{ 'Disallow: /*.oembed' }}
{%- endif -%}
{%- if group.sitemap != blank -%}
{{ group.sitemap }}
{%- endif -%}
{% endfor %}
This should help but the problem is when these atom pages are already indexed. One option is to wait that google desindex by himself these now blocked by robots pages but not sure how efficient it is. We can also manualy ask for noindex in the GSC but that's a pain if we have a lot of pages with this issue.
The best option is to put these atom page in noindex as shown at the begining if shopify is kind enough to do it. Or if anybody is able to help to inject the noindex on these lines. Anyone please?
