Product review apps for the Supply theme

My name is Lilith, I'm on the Social Care team at Shopify.

There are many product review apps in our app store at the moment, but I have used a few different ones on some of my own businesses before. Here are my top 3 recommendations for you:

• Product Reviews - by Shopify
• Stamped.io
• Yotpo

If you'd like something that is easy to work with and has straight forward reviews for products I'd recommend using the Shopify Product Reviews (the first one in the list there. We've got a whole help center guide for this app as well to help you get it set up as well as working with the different features of the app you can use. It's also free so it will be a great way to get started with a clean appearance and easy to use app that works for any theme. You can export your reviews if you need to at a later time as well.

However, if you want to have some extra features like customer retention and loyalty features on the review app you can use the other two in the list there as well. You can also try some other apps in the store as well. Remember that there may be some paid and some free apps in there too.

Depending on your demand, each product review app has it strength and weakness.

• If all you want is allowing users to leave a review, then Shopify's Product Reviews is a good choice, because it is free and allows you to easily add a review widget.
• If you want more options like a total-review badge or highlighting the best reviews, you can start with Yotpo.
• If you are looking for SEO-rich widget to optimize the pages for organic searches, try Rivyo.

One thing in common when you use any review app is the widget position. It is not easy to add a review element to a specific position. Most apps won't allow you to flexibly adjust the position of the review element. 

If you want to add the review element on a custom position on your page, you can consider using PageFly. It's a page builder app, which integrates with many review apps.

From PageFly's third-party app integration section, you can even have an overview into each app. This will give you an overview about each app's features without installing all apps.

Apart from the likes of Yotpo, AliReviews, Loox and others, there's also the Photo Reviews and Testimonials app that I'd recommend to you. That's because it offers 3 ways to display social proof on your site - reviews, ratings and also testimonials. So you can basically give your customers more options in terms of the format they want to submit a review in.
