Promoted Discounts - Letting the user know a discount was pre-applied?

Hi,

When I share a discount using the promoted discount URL, the users who enter that link see my website without any indication that the coupon is already pre-applied to their cart so they don't see the VALUE which I offered them with the discount. Have you come across this?
