Regarding Shopify Website - META Ad

I have built my website by using STUDIO Theme in Shopify. When I try running Ads on Meta I'm getting inaccurate numbers in my Ad. For example, the Unique link clicks is 104 and Landing page views is 21. There is a huge difference in the numbers. Can you help us with this.

One possibility is that people are clicking your ad but not waiting for the landing page to fully load, so they’re counted as clicks but not views. Another reason could be that some of the traffic is from bots or people accidentally clicking the ad more than once, which might throw off the numbers.

Also, it’s worth checking if there’s a delay in how your website is tracking views, especially if your Shopify site is using a heavy theme or has certain scripts running that slow down page load times. A fast-loading site tends to sync better with ad metrics.

I’d recommend reviewing your pixel setup to make sure it’s properly installed and firing on the right pages. Sometimes issues like this can be fixed by re-setting or refreshing your pixel.

Lastly, consider testing your ad with a smaller audience and monitor if the discrepancy continues. If it does, reaching out to Shopify support or Meta’s ad support team might help you get to the bottom of it.

The numbers in your Meta Ads are different because not all clicks lead to the landing page. Sometimes, people may click the ad but leave the page before it fully loads. This can cause the number of clicks to be higher than the landing page views. Check your tracking settings to fix this.

Hi @Mysticcarat

That’s frustrating, but don’t worry—you’re not alone. The gap between Unique Link Clicks (104) and Landing Page Views (21) usually comes down to tracking issues, page load speed, or user behavior. Here’s what’s likely happening: Some users click the ad but bounce before the page fully loads, or tracking isn’t firing correctly due to browser restrictions (especially on iOS).

First, check if Meta Pixel and Conversion API are set up properly in Shopify (via Events Manager). Second, test your page speed—a slow-loading page can cause users to drop off before tracking kicks in.

Finally, expect some natural drop-off—not every click turns into a view. Fix tracking, optimize load times, and you'll get cleaner data. The numbers won’t be perfect, but they’ll be far more reliable

Try these steps and let me know if they work!

Best,

Daisy.
