When marketing your business in India, it’s important to understand key elements of the market which will help you successfully market your product. Keep in mind the following:

 

  • Your content should be primarily in English. None of the top ecommerce sites in India have a non-English option.
  • Marketing should be mobile first. Optimize ads for mobile use as 87% of relevant internet access in India is mobile.
  • Facebook is the top social media platform in India. Utilize this channel to connect with your target audience effectively.
  • Google is the top search engine in India with a 96% market share. Utilize this platform to reach your audience both organically and through paid search.

Hi,

Few queries on Marketing. 

1. Many times customers don't provide their e mail and provide there mobile number at abandon cart. So is there any automation that works like Shopify Email and send sms or Whatsapp messages to customers who don't provide email ?

2. Is there any way to show a pop up for some offer or other related products to customer after they have added products in their cart and before checkout ?

3. if i want to remind about promotional codes or any discount offers at cart page, how to do that ?

Currently, Shopify supports abandoned cart recovery via email. You can utilize an app such as this one here for SMS abandoned cart recovery! 

2. Is there any way to show a pop up for some offer or other related products to customer after they have added products in their cart and before checkout ?

Yes, there are many apps available for cross-selling and up-selling! You can browse the full collection of apps available here. 

3. if i want to remind about promotional codes or any discount offers at cart page, how to do that ?

You can add discount offers to your cart page a number of ways! For example:
