Can you be more specific?

In which month date did the sales drop? and have you checked if the traffic is also decreased?

Check if the site is penalized or not?

Have you updated any thing recently?

You should check did the customer add less product to cart or they abandon the cart more, or in other words, check where did the customers leave?

Also, I can recommend some marketing methods to increase the sales, however, the tactics could highly depend on your niche:

1. Special discount campaigns

This is the most used practices when you want to boost sales, especially this BFCM. Upselling can increase your average order value and keep customers excited by special discounts. My recommendation is to review your products and offer discounts on frequently bought together products, or you can offer flash deals of best selling items.

You can also boost product bundles or special collection just for the BFCM.

To promote your campaign effectively, flash sales are a perfect option.

You can consider using DoubleC app to set up attractive Flash sales deals:

Where you can promote discount campaigns:

- Email (to existing buyers, don't forget to create a sense of urgency)

- Social post

- In-web popup

- Website banner

2. Influencer marketing

Not to mention the power of influencer marketing but sometime this method is costly yet effective. So I think key to leveraging this campaign tactic is to work with individuals who have followers that look like your customer base and whose followers trust them to share quality information.

3. Special giveaways

People love free stuff, and the more you give away for free, the more favorably prospective customers are likely to perceive you and your brand, which can result in more online sales.

Special giveaways can boost your brand awareness and brand reach to more potential audience, which will definitely bring long-term effect. Having more leads mean you will have more chances to convert them into users later. Making the most of user-generated content is ideal for brand enhancement.

4. Optimize your website for buying experience

Make sure your site is mobile-optimized, optimize the site speed and make your navigation as easy to follow as possible. Plus, it is highly recommend to show product review and testimonials for brand trust.

Another tips is to testing your product listing as well as website content as much as possible to figure out the most effective content.

Hi Kumarv,

my opinion is that your searcheability in Google ecosystem has dropped due to evolution of their algorythm. There are several issues I noticed at first sight in your website which definitively do not fit Google Best Practices, including transparency, legal noticing, and authoritativness. Speed is good (77 mobile, 98 desktop), so i would say that you need to reconfigure the website with a more SEO oriented approach.

If you need any help there let me know. You can check some of my works in that sense.

Take care, ciao!

It depends on your current situation. If you need to get traffic/sales quickly as a new store, invest in Google/Facebook ads. I have learned from my own experience that in order to run Ads effectively, you also need to do some good research with SEO first. By doing SEO, you'll understand what are the most effective keywords from organic traffic and also, customer behavior on your website. Then you can optimize your ads with SEO insights and improve your on-site elements to boost conversion. If you're a fresh website starting out, my advice would be to invest 80% on ads and 20% on SEO. At first, you need to prioritize ads for sales but please, never miss out on SEO because it helps you grow your online presence for the long term and attract a sustainable amount of traffic to your web. By the way, there's no need to hire a costly SEO expert as there are some free and effective SEO apps that offer good service in my opinion, (I've been using this one for over a year:

Here's how to get more traffic to your Shopify store in 2021.
- Build customer engagement through content marketing.
- Reach your target audience on social media.
- Use influencers to get more traffic.
And you gain traffic for your store, you can make use of Social Media and Email Marketing so as to boost your traffic.
Just my personal recommendations as a fellow store owner. Hope it helps

The website is not optimized for SEO. There is little content on the website, no linbuliding can be seen. In our opinion, there is a problem here. Describe your products in detail, then start creating your company blog. It will definitely help.

Hi @kumarv,

This is UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing - The no.1 Affiliate marketing on Shopify app store.

I am happy here to share some experience and suggestions for your online store. And I truly hope that they are useful and helpful for you in improving your sales performance.

I totally you are just starting your business. Firstly, congratulation for your first step. It would be hard at the beginning. Most other business would be same as you when beginning, and now they are successful. So be patient!

Here are some marketing suggestions for you to improve your sales performance:

1. Increase Shopify sales with popup promotions

After creating upsell bundles and discounts, the next step is to start spreading the word. Popups are a great way to draw your customers’ attention towards these promotions and offers.

Some people believe that popups can be pesky, driving customers away. This might be true for those who are using them incorrectly. But when done in the right way at the right time, popups can lead to the conversion of 40%  of your store’s visitors into customers. All you need is the right Shopify app to increase sales.

2. Using affiliate marketing

Obviously, you should spend first priority to find the methods which brings positive results with no risky and low cost. It much better for you at this time. Affiliate marketing could be a good option for you.

Affiliate marketing is a marketing model which allows you to connect with various affiliates, and then they will use their advertising sources such as social media channels, websites, blogs, etc, to promote your products. You only need to pay affiliate commission whenever a customer makes a purchase via the unique link or coupon associated with their recommendation.

1. Low investment but high cost effective

In fact, affiliate marketing does not need a huge amount to build a customer service team, or running advertising. This campaign helps to mitigate any risks that drive traffic or run social ads with little or no result for your Shopify business, while also ensuring that merchants achieve what they pay for.

In fact, whereas a poor marketing campaign that sends you low quality results will still need to be paid for, even if you make no sales. However, affiliate marketing ensures your marketing is cost effective and helps to reduce the risk of “leaking out” money for an uncertain market.

2. Make extra income

The main advantage of affiliate marketing is that the income is entirely performance-based. This is because affiliates are only paid a commission when a purchase has taken place. That means if the affiliates have an ineffective campaign, it won’t affect your budget.

The affiliates understand that driving huge traffic of potential customers will help to increase sales conversion. For this reason, the affiliates will spend much effort to build effective social platforms, promotion or boosting posts of your products in a better way to attract customers. The more efficiently they work, the more commission they generate, and the more sales you earn.

3. Brand Awareness

A research reported that 92% of customers trust the recommendations of people, companies or influencers they know. For this reason, working directly with affiliate marketers who then promote your products to their established audience, brings more opportunities and more direct sales. The plus of affiliate marketing is to expand out into new markets that you haven't explored, giving your brand a much stronger online presence.

4. SEO Value

Publishers (the affiliates) link to your website to send traffic your way. Provided they aren’t spammy, these links are usually beneficial for your off-page SEO efforts, since inbound links are a huge factor in Google’s ranking algorithm.

5. Customer Data

UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing provides you valuable data and insight into how, where and why your customers are buying, which you can then use to make smarter marketing decisions in the future across other channels.

I hope my recommendation will be helpful for you. If you are still looking for a marketing tool to boost your sales greatly, I hope you can try our product: UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing
