I did a test order and noticed that the taxes were NOT calculated in the purchase price. All my products have the checkmark next to charge taxes and I have my state added to my physical presence. I have no idea what is wrong.
Hi there, @mysupplyguy!
I'm happy to help you out with this
The first thing that came to mind is that you may have the All price includes tax setting turned on. You can check this by logging into your Shopify admin and navigating to Settings > Taxes and scrolling down to Tax calculations, as shown here in my test store:
If that setting is turned on, then the tax will be included in the displayed price. You can find more information on this setting here, but essentially you and your customers will still see the tax as a line item, but no taxes will appear to be added. The subtotal and total will be the same, but the amount of tax you need to remit for an order will also be indicated. If you turn the setting off, the tax will be removed from the price of the item and instead be added on top of the price at checkout.
If you check this setting and confirm that it is unchecked, you can let me know here and we'll take another look. If you could also include a screenshot of the first page of your tax settings (like my screenshot above) that would be super helpful.
Thank you for posting in the Shopify Community, and let me know if there's anything else I can help you out with!
